RECOMMENDED SUPPLIERS

Here are a few suppliers that we are prepared to endorse at PASC. These companies are either entirely focussed on our sector or have specialist divisions to serve this sector. We have very strong personal contacts with all the Recommended Suppliers. They have all played their part in the formation of PASC and support its primary goal of a fairer regime of taxation and legislation for the professional self-catering sector.

We would recommend Members look closely at each of these companies to see that they can offer you as a business. Please feel free to contact PASC to ask any questions about these companies. If Members have similar companies that they can recommend we would very much like to hear more about them so we can follow up.

Premier Cottages is different.  We are not an agency, nor an OTA, but are a membership collective of top-end independent self-catering operators who get together to jointly promote direct bookings to our properties.  We are a small but highly successful platform for independent operators who wish to remain in control of their own pricing and business model, but who are looking for a bigger shop window in which to display their offering than they could achieve alone.  We have a very substantial database and a very strong social media presence, which are key drivers to our award-winning website.

The QiT accreditation starts with a H&S focused, called Safe, Clean & Legal. The accreditation involves registering, uploading various documentation such as risk assessments, insurance details etc. and answering some questions. The process is simple but comprehensive, it involves registering, uploading documents and supportive assessor visit, and starts from as little as £125 plus VAT.

SCL accreditation underpins all of QiT accreditation, but operators can subscribe to one of our other accreditations, and for PASC UK members that would usually be a REST (Responsible, Ethical & Sustainable Tourism) or STAR rating accreditation.

The AA have been inspecting and recommending hotels for over a century, and in 2018 celebrated 110 years in the hospitality industry. In collaboration with VisitEngland, VisitScotland, VisitWales and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, they have developed Common Quality Standards for inspecting and rating hotels, guest accommodation and self-catering properties.

Establishments that join the AA accommodation scheme can take advantage of a range of scheme benefits and membership offers.

Touch Stay is a digital alternative to your house binder and attraction flyers, giving guests easy-to-find answers to everything they need to know (before, during and after their stay). It’s easy to add headings, text, photos, videos, links and map pins. (And, yes, technophobes can do this!) It works on all devices and, if guests add the app (optional), it’s accessible offline too. No binders with missing pages; no disinfecting; no replacing outdated flyers. Just a simple and efficient first impression for your guests!
