REGULATION

The so called ‘gig-economy” of AirBnB and many other similar operators must adhere to the same rules on Furnished Holiday Letting (FHL), Business Rates and safety legislation that our Members are required to meet.

PASC has a strong relationship with the national Tourism Alliance. Alistair Handyside, the Executive Chairman, is on the Board. Kurt Janson, the Director of the Tourism Alliance is also PASC Board. Alistair has been closely involved with lobbying the Government on the Red Tape Challenge, lead by Kurt from the Tourism Alliance and have supported the recent calls for evidence on what regulations can be relaxed or removed. PASC will also campaign vigorously for a level playing field for regulation.
