What is the Review 182 Campaign?

PASC UK Cymru is coordinating the Review 182 Campaign. The objective is simple, to secure a meeting with Ministers and Officials to agree a date for a formal review of the 182-day threshold, and on what basis that review will be undertaken. We are also seeking additional exemptions for business from the Council Tax Premiums that are applicable if 182 days are not met.

We are working alongside key partners, examples being Wales Tourism Alliance, UK Hospitality Wales and the CLA Cymru. (Can these say the names but be links to https://www.wta.org.uk/   https://www.cla.org.uk/in-your-area/wales/ https://www.ukhospitality.org.uk/location/wales/)

The key base elements of this campaign involve you as owners. We carried out a business survey in Wales which was closed when wretched 1500 respondents, making it it the biggest survey of its kind in Wales. Secondly, we have created an iParl Petition, that enables you to send a letter to all you’re your MS’s and Representatives in Wales, you simply have to enter your name and address, and press send. You can of course modify the prepared letter. We have managed to get over 3375 letters sent so far, and we are getting positive responses that even Plaid Cymru Members who are beginning to see that a Review is necessary. Anyone who is a Constituent can sign the Petition, as well as anyone that like you and PASC UK care about the Welsh Visitor Economy and the Micro-Businesses within it .So please share
